Black and white cashmere hand-woven scarves

After many months of weaving two, or multi-, coloured scarves I have gone back to basics.  This time a couple of black and white cashmere scarves in an interesting narrow stripped pattern.  These are two elegant and luxurious scarves that will enhance any outfit.  They are nominally 1820mm x 215mm and weigh 86g.

They will be on sale at Aspects of Kings Park or The Artisan Store Fremantle depending upon stock movement.

Clematis and moss hand-woven cashmere scarves

My sales experience in the last year suggests that two, or multi-, coloured scarves are popular.  So I have hand-woven two cashmere scarves using hand-dyed clematis and moss colours in the Landscape range of dyes.  The warp for both are thin strips of the two colours whilst I have used each colour separately as the weft in the two scarves.  Both scarves are in the same pattern so it is interesting to see how different each appear. These two lovely feeling, lightweight and thin scarves will bring elegance to any outfit.  Both scarves are nominally 1700mm x 210mm and weigh only 59g.

See them at Aspects of Kings Park or The Artisan Store Fremantle depending upon stock movement.

Lavender and wisteria Tailored Strands alpaca hand-woven scarves

My two-tone alpaca scarves are proving popular so I have woven two more.  This time I have used the Lavender and Wisteria coloured 4-ply yarns in the Tailored Strands alpaca range.  Woven in two different patterns these finished soft touching scarves remind me of spring-time.   A lovely item       for my northern hemisphere friends!

A second hand-bag from hand-woven tartan fabric

This is the second hand-bag made from the bolt of tartan fabric which I hand-wove in early December.  The tartan fabric is from hand-dyed merino wool and is paired with a raspberry coloured cotton canvas whilst the inside is lined with a grey nylon shantung.

A small hand-bag but featuring an outside zipped pocket with a further well placed 3 open pockets inside.
The first tartan hand-bag is currently in an auction at

The auction finishes on 9 January at 8.20pm WA time (9.20pm Japanese time).
