Mid-brown Shamwani

I have now completed a seventh scarf using natural coloured 4-ply alpaca yarn from Shamwani Alpaca.
This time the yarn is mid-brown and the scarf is 1880mm x 240mm and weighs 191g.
All these scarves have been woven using the following five different natural coloured yarns from fleeces from Shamwani Alpaca.
The total collection of seven scarves are as follows:

Two more Shamwani

My latest two scarves are using more natural coloured 4-ply alpaca yarns from WA based Shamwani Alpaca. The first is in a light brown colour and is 1850mm x 210mm and weighs 185g.
The second is a two-tone coloured scarf using a light brown and a dark brown yarn. The scarf is 1760mm x 200mm and weighs 167g.
I am expecting them to be on sale shortly at an exciting new location - details soon.

One white, one brown Shamwani

Have just completed two scarves using 4-ply natural coloured yarns from Shamwani Alpaca.
The first is from a white fleece and is 1870mm x 230mm and weighs 190g.
The second is from a dark brown fleece and is 1860mm x 220mm and weighs 187g.
Both are long and soft alpaca scarves. They will both be on my next market stall, details coming shortly.

Two Noro Yarns

During my recent trip to the UK I purchased 200g each of two different yarns from Noro which I have now woven into two scarves.
The first is using Noro Yuzen, colour 14, which is 56% wool, 34% silk, and 10% kid mohair. The scarf is 1790mm x 210mm and weighs 176g.
The second scarf is using Noro Blossom, colour 25, which is 40% wool, 30% kid mohair, 20% silk and 10% nylon. The scarf is 1840mm x 200mm and weighs 161g.
As you would expect both scarves are very colourful and will grace my next market stall - details shortly.

Silver Tailored Strands

My third scarf woven with a 4-ply Tailored Strands alpaca yarn is in silver.
It is 1940mm x 220mm and weighs 150g. It is a lovely long and soft scarf. It will be on my next market stall, details to be posted later.

Tailored Strands alpaca

To build up my stock of alpaca scarves I have woven two using 4-ply alpaca yarns from Tailored Strands, an Australian alpaca product. The first is in royal blue and is 1880mm x 220mm and weighs 152g.
The second is in claret and mid-grey and is 1860mm x 220mm and weighs 148g.
Both scarves are very soft and will be on my next stall. Details of my next market will be posted shortly.

Shamwani Alpaca

I have just woven two scarves using natural coloured 4-ply alpaca yarn from Shamwani Alpaca. The first is in a light brown yarn and is 1820mm x 210mm and weighs 157g.
The second scarf is using the light brown yarn as the warp and a white yarn as the weft in an interesting pattern. The scarf is 1770mm x 195mm and weighs 155g.
I intend having both scarves in the Pelava Pop-up Shop scheduled to open shortly. Details will be posted when available.
