Crabapple alpaca

My next scarf is using an hand-dyed crabapple coloured alpaca 2-ply yarn. With only 100g of the yarn available this scarf is narrower than my recent scarves. It is 1450mm x 155mm and weighs 86g. I washed it a bit more than usual so it is tending to felt, so giving a different texture from the previous two scarves.

Primrose and ivy alpaca

Switching back to alpaca yarns, I have woven two scarves in hand-dyed 2-ply alpaca yarns. The first uses two colours, primrose and ivy, and is 1440mm x 215mm and weighs 132g, whilst the second is in ivy and is 1570mm x 215mm and weighs 130g. A different pattern has been used for each scarf.

Maroon and grey cashmere

Have just completed two more cashmere scarves using a heather and a grey 2-ply cashmere yarn. The two scarves are in different patterns and results in two lightweight and soft items. The first scarf is 1400mm x 210mm and weighs 62g, whilst the second scarf is 1760mm x 210mm and weighs 78g.

Indigo cashmere

My latest scarf is using an indigo cashmere 2-ply yarn woven in a "basket" weave pattern. It has resulted in a very loose and open structure, but still retaining the softness of the cashmere. Quite a different texture to my normal scarves. It is 1800mm x 200mm and weighs 78g. The colour is more like the photos of the whole scarf rather than the close-up of the weave pattern.
